HTML and Internet

Internet:

1. The man who envisioned the internet was J.C.R Licklider.
2. He called it to the Galactic Network.
3. This occurred in of August of 1962.

HTML:

1. It stands for Hyper Text Mark-up Language.
2. The most basic things you need to write an HTML are Microsoft's Notepad or Wordpad, or Mac's Simple Text.
3. On the computers we are using you can use a website with Publisher and Notepad

Today in class we learned about the difference between a banner and header. Then we made a post about these differences.

Difference between Header and Banner

There are many differences between a header and a banner. A header and banner share the similarity that they are both pictures, but they differ in their purpose. A header is for the most part across the top horizontally displaying a picture in the attempt to set the feel for a website. A banner on the other hand can be any shape on any part of the website utilized more for advertisement purposes.
